psychpoathy and psychosis are two different things, but if you think the majority of people have a conscience and learn from their mistakes then the incidence of psychopathy is less than you might be led to believe,Ive worked with psychopaths in the prison system so i know what i talk about

I'm sure everybody has the ability to become a psychopath if they were put in the right situation. We all like to think that we have this under control but the thought pops in there every now and then and with society as it is now. I'm not surprised more people are not pushed over the edge.

I could be a psychopath when I visit my local coop which only has one till open and about twenty people in the queue.

No I am not a psychopath, but I have suffered from psychosis, due to bi-polar disorder. And, no I did not experience any of the symptoms described by RAGRIAV. It was a truly terrifying experience which I would never want to go through again. I just keep taking my pills and my mind stays intact.

Yes, I have had Psychopathic Episodes but it IS treatable and it isn't a per meant condition. I am fine and have be drug free for many years. It was apparently a bad mix of narcotics many, many years ago. Society makes the psychotic personality and they also over react to the condition. Don't believe everything that you see in the movies...Hollywood just has to over dramatize everything.

psy·cho·path (sk-pth) KEY

NOUN:

A person with an antisocial personality disorder, manifested in aggressive, perverted, criminal, or amoral behavior without empathy or remorse.

This is being confused here... in a bad way.
People who have psychotic episodes are completely different than psychopaths.

Someone with a psychotic episode may hear voices, see things that aren't there, or behave in an irrational way. This does *not* mean this person is engaging in criminal behavior.

A psychopath is someone who has no remorse or conscience and who doesnt unbderstand the feelings of others, not a person who is psychotic.
I have never known a psychopath but I have worked with psychotic people.

I thought long and hard about this question as I was washing my axe. I came to my final conclusion as I patted the earth down on a shallow grave: No I'm not a psychopath.

I think my 19 year old baby sister is one,she actually called a boy who said he didn't want to be with her cuz she was crazy. Now I think we all got some crazinest in us but she's beyond crazy. She called his house and told his baby mama that she was pregnant with his child, and she was going to hurt him(the baby mama said they are not together anymore)told this boy she is going to make his life a living hell and etc.It was like a crazy daytime soap opera,I was in my room laughing like hell and told her she need to get a life, and told her she keep talking to these losers who only sells drugs and she attracted to those kind of guys. She says she's through with him but don't won't to leave him alone.
