Walking is way easier on your knees and if you are going 4 mph, it would not matter which you were doing, it would burn the same amount.
If you want to jog, take it up a notch and jog at least 4.5 - 5 mph.

Jogging will burn more calories-but is also worse on your joints if done over time. You can race walk-it is so much better on your joints. The thing to do is raise your pulse for 20 minutes. Bicycling is good too.

Since they're at the same pace (Since MPH = Miles per hour) then they'd burn almost exactly the same amount.
