first you gotta build up your self esteem and be prepared for rejection. If you confront him this would be the only way you can bounce back in case he says no. also know that you are beautiful individual and if he doesn't like you there are more fish in the sea. He's not the only person in the world. If he's too dumb to see you're prettiness forget him. Oh and make sure you do it in private not at school because it would be really embarassing if the whole school knew you got dumped. Also have a cool support system like go out with your friends that day. Also if he says no that make a remark back like well you don't deserve a chick like me anyway. Now I see, I was too blind to notice that you R an ugly dude they were right! But if he's bigger than you, you can just walk away and if he hurts you, call the security at school. It helps to be friends with the guy you like though in the first place. It's easier. that way you'll have an excuse to talk to him. And act cool and confident otherwise people will tend to make fun of you because they'll say you are a baby.

I like this guy, and I'm really shy to tell him too - don't worry, most people are. Don't fling yourself at him, or he'll only back away. Instead, make friends with him, share interests, that kind of thing. You don't have to tell him you like him; after a while, he may find out for himself. Just talk to him when you see him, strike up a conversation, ect. He's bound to notice you sometime.

Give him some hints that you like guys like him......and then talk to him when u r alone...he will get the hints.
then after some time juast ask him if he has any feelings for anyone...thats it..you will know everything u need that time. Good Luck..

How old are you? Write him a note. And if he is a good guy he will respond wheter positive or negative. If he laughs and jokes with his pals about it he's a jerk. Be true to you, keep smiling! Remember you are always loved.

Tell your friend to ask for his email..and if your friends are to shy..then your on your own...your goin to have to ask a guy sometime in life rite..y not do it now!?...and if your friend gets his email...then get her to give it to you and talk to him...like on msn or w.e
