I have sky hd,i can guarentee the difference in picture quality is fantastic, its just a shame there isnt a lot of hd chanells on yet,and the films are repeared through the day, when you switch from sky sports 1 or 2 to sky sports hd 1 or 2 while watching a live football match the difference in the picture is a lot clearer.

regardless of you have it is not an HD television. this is a call for of the worldwide intense Definition standards that "HD" and "HD waiting" television instruments have HDMI ports. it is not a threat to purchase any low priced converter for HDMI to RGB or the rest different than DVI (that's a working laptop or computing device computer screen equipment). you have got a television set with some thing mentioned as "ingredient Video" inputs. those are 3 phono (RCA) sockets colored purple, eco-friendly and blue. The alerts carried by making use of this technique are stable yet they don't look to be HD and (inspite of the socket colors) they don't look to be RGB (purple, eco-friendly, Blue color alerts). they don't carry audio the two. you may get exceedingly stable photos by making use of connecting the Sky container to the television making use of a SCART connector. this might carry genuine RGB alerts and stereo sound. in spite of the fact that this is only not intense Definition and could be not extra valuable than you will possibly get from a generic Sky container.

I don't have an HD tv myself, but my dad does and he also had Sky HD. I can tell you from first hand experience, it makes a massive difference in quality and is well worth investing in.

No, quite simply. Go to Currys or Comet, if you get the right staff member and they've got your model they might plug HD in for you. Alternatively if you know someone with a HD DVD player ask to borrow it and plug it into your Telly.
Hope that's useful.

Go into any decent TV retailer and they should be demonstrating their equipment on HD hard drives. I am tempted to upgrade to SKY HD I must admit!!!

Alot of programs show in HD on free tv. If your tv has a HD tuner built in it should show in HD when those programs are on. Our local news brocast is in HD.

If you watch enough t.v. and can get enough channels, go HD however you
can get it. The difference is truly amazing.
