I have two sons,elder one is 4 years,and younger is 2 months. When i breast feed the little-one,the elder is jealous,and wants me to feed him also.

The elder is just jealous and feels left out. You need to set some personal time for the elder. I know this is tough since you are busy with the new one. All of the attention is on the younger since he is new and a baby. Show him that he is bigger and older. Make him feel superior and that you need him right now.

I really don't think he wants to nurse. He's probably feeling left out and a little jealous that the baby gets the attention that he used to get. Let him know that this is the way babies are fed and that when he was a baby you fed him the same way. Reassure him that he is very special, you love him very much and when the baby is done eating you will do something fun with him, whether it's making a fun snack, coloring, watching a favorite program, etc. He needs reassurance that you still love him, enjoy being with him and that you'll always be there for him when he needs you.

Get a breast pump and only breast feed when the oldest son is not around.

Well,you can have a "shift" of breastfeeding.Learn from a Mum who has twins.You have to train your 4 yr old to drink powder milk and not your milk.If it doesn't work,then have a "shift"like I said earlier.You feed your baby then your toddler.That way,he won't feel left out.

Explain to him that he is not a baby anymore. Offer him a substitute when you are breast feeding, like something to eat or play with.

explan to him that you did the same thing for him when he was a baby and now its his baby siblings turn. Tell him that he can eat big boy good now but the baby cant so all he gets is milk. Let him taste it one day on ur finger or something and maybe he will realize it doesnt taste as good as real food or other milk.

You reminded me when I was 4 yrs old!!!...my mom was still breast feeding me, eventhough the breast has no milk left...
(I wonder if this effected me about sucking or using my mouth and tounge?)...hey! don't think provactive! in a naughty way.
When my mom had my younger brother I was 4 yrs old....I was jealous him ofcourse.....because of him I couldn't play with my mom''s nipple before I go to sleep anymore.....
I did try the other side of my mom's nipple...but she smag me!!!!

I was breast feeding my son for 2 and a half year, fortunately for him that he has only one person who jealous him was...his dad...but then we left his dad after he was 2 yrs old....
*Well....about 1 year ago he still fancy to play with my breast.!(he is now 6 yrs old)...when I breast feeding him, I let him play with nipples....it was so difficult when I first trying to stop breast feeding him.....I told him to play with my ears instead of nipples...then now...I don't let him play with it anymore.....I think it's natural...when time comes he will eventually stop it....or you will get very cross when he wants it.....it's natural....

I am sure that my 6 yrs old son will have some jealousy, but certainly he won't want me to breast feed him too....he will say...'it's yukky'.....why I am so certain....because now ...he doesn't like me bath him any more....when I told him to wash his wi==y.....he shy...and turn away...
*ps, men never stop like 'women's breasts'....they love it when they first was born....and they will love it untill their last day.
because they don't have such a beautiful breast like us :-),,,,,hee,,,hee.. ;-D

you need to make a time just foe the too of you and do the big boy thing soo he dos not thank you do not care let him know he is not the baby and let him help let him be the big brother buy help you with the baby
