Can you believe that they wont let the people that die in the War have their religions symbol on their head stones? no matter what their religion is they should be able to have the symbol on their head stone, do you agree? if not then why? why do you think that they shouldnt have it on their head stone? did you know that out of the 80 symbols allowed on the head stones 35 are christian symbols, do you think that is fair? that some of us cant have our religions symbol on our head sotnes but the christians have 35 symbols to choose from? now i have nothing against christians personally but the goverment should allow everone to have their religious symbol on their headstone, they died for their country the least we can do is honor them by puting their symbol on their headstone. Am I right?

I agree that they should be allowed to have symbols of their religion placed on their headstone. I'm actually an Atheist.

of course you're right and that one Wiccan soldier was eventually allowed to have a Wiccan symbol on his headstone (setting a precedence) but his family had to pay for it, unlike Christians, Jews etc for whom the government provides the headstone.

in this country all men are created equal but some are more equal than others and there is freedom of worship but some religions are more free to worship than others.

this country is only a little over 200 yrs old and if we'd don't destroy ourselves with avarice and greed we might actually become the great country we have the potential to be.

i really don't think that it matters. because there is only one truth and one God. also these lives will be ressurrected regardless if they have a religious symbol on there tombstone or not. Acts 24:15 proves this. it says "and I have hope toward God, which hope these men themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a ressurection of both the righteous and the unrighteous. So it really doesn't matter.

You're totally right. It's a travesty.

I'm right in thinking Pagans and Heathens can't have their religious symbols on the gravestones, right?

Your question is self-contradictory. What symbol(s) specifically are you referring to?

It's a downright tragedy.
