It seems as though they're trying every year to get little ones to "be" older....act older....so, I think I know where you're coming from. We've forgotten how important it is that children be....children.
On a couple of occassions when my little girl says "Daddy I can't wait to grow up".....I pulled her to the side...whispered...."I've got a secret, can you keep it?"...she knods...."All grown ups wish they could be four again, just like you....so they can play all day. But it's our big secret, okay? Don't tell anyone.".....she says "Okay Daddy, our secret."
Sort of my way of letting her know to be a child....and love being just that.

I am not sure who licked the red off your candy, but you should take a deep cleansing breathe & explain to us why the hostility? Children need the fairytales in their lives it allows them to dream & imagine & be creative. I don't remember ever getting mad at my parents because the toothfairy & Easter bunny & Santa Claus weren't real.( ok I was diasappointed about Santa,as I know now not to ask for things they couldn't afford. But, somewhere in my soul I still believe in the Spirit of Christmas, I hope I always will) Children are adults a lot longer then they are children, let them enjoy childhood with all the fairytales & Dora too.
PS God is not a myth, and that is someone they need to know also.

Toys are silly, because I'm 34 and not allowed to play with them. Well, at least not where people can see me... What exactly is your question here? That because some people think God is a myth, we should therefore rid ourselves of everything mythical? That's a strange arguement. And what does putting kids to work have to do with anything?

heavily. We talk English extra effective than we smoke cigarettes i think of, or as much as a minimum of. Greek little ones start up gaining expertise of distant places languages at an particularly youthful age, many times at 6 while they enter basic college yet many mom and dad have already started speaking to them in English or French or German even formerly the age of five or 6 to "prepare" them. Then they pass to non-public faculties or hire tutors to benefit a minimum of a million or 2 distant places languages even nevertheless those languages are additionally being taught in Junior severe and severe college. the final public of Greeks talk English. Then comes French, German, Spanish and different languages. I also have a buddy who speaks 7 distant places languages which incorporates Russian, chinese language, and Arabic!!! The elderly, particularly people who're uneducated (did no longer pass to the college at their time) would in basic terms understand some words of English yet older those with levels are extra knowledgeable. My relatives are of their 60s and 70s and because they have been English and French professors they talk it ok! So I' d say an 80% of Greeks will have not any concern speaking with you in English. they could be particularly fluent. yet as an honor to the country you're traveling you additionally should benefit some Greeks words and words to matter upon once you may meet a Greek who has no expertise of English. He would in basic terms talk French working example. What do u do then?

Here's one:
Kingsway Academy, Nassau, The Bahamas. In the 80s sent warning to all parents on the danger of the SMURFS because it encouraged witchcraft, Gargamel creates Smurfette, Azreal means "death", and there has to be homosexuality because so many men live together.
TRUE!!!!!! Except, The Bahamas IS a Christian nation atleast, so some nonsense is part of the price we pay.

No....let children be children. We could learn from children. When did running stop being fun? And where does our imagination go when we get old...into our love handles, never to be seen again? Let children live in a fantasy world when they are young because the real world can Bite!

I assume this is an oblique reference to some conservative Christians bashing Harry Potter? I am a Christian, and my only objection to some popular culture for kids is that adults are portrayed as morons and treated with disrespect. I don't have a problem with fiction. There have been many wonderful Christian writers of fiction, including C.S.Lewis (The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe) and J.R.R. Tolkien (The Lord of the Rings).

Absolutely not! Let us make Dora our God. I'm sure we could whip up a religion around her in no time. It'll certainly be as coherent as the ones we have now.
