I've liked my best friend for months now and about half a year ago I told him that. He was flattered, but said he just wanted to stay friends. It was wierd for a while, but now we are best friends. Well about a month ago he started skipping things so he can be with me, and he buys things for me and I know he really likes me. He is shy to begin with, but do you think that maybe he thinks he lost his chance with me because he already turned me down? Will he never make a move unless I let him know somehow that it's ok?

I think you should wait for him to make the next move now. If you tell him you like him again, you'll risk making things weird again if he doesn't feel the same way, only this time things will be really weird. Try flirting with him a little and give subtle hints. That should make him more comfortable.

In your own special way, let him know you still think he is special without putting pressure on him. Lets face it, some people express their feelings other than just coming out and saying it.
Also, body language is going to be key.
Just keep in mind, you may be reading more into this than he is trying to convey.
Be patient and I bet he will come around.

Could be that or that he won't admit to himself that he likes you. So do something to show you are interested and see how he reacts. It probably would be too weird to ask again- so just be subtle and try to see how HE feels. It sounds like he is interested whether he knows it or not. Good Luck!!!

well if you think that he thinks that you should try and make the frist move on him and see what goes down from there that'll be the best thing to do in my mind or just talk to him about it.

Flirt with him! If he wants to go out with you then you should flirt with him and then he'll know that it's ok to go out with you!
