he'd have to be a very fast swimmer, i found this on msn encarts "Mako sharks, swift, powerful, open-ocean sharks that reach lengths of up to 3.5 m (12 ft), are believed capable of speeds up to 48 km/h (30 mph)."

That is cute. I think if a shark was coming for me, I would work really hard to be faster than it. Although, I would lose the race. I am a water child. I love to swim and surf. Sharks are just a risk we take when we go in the ocean. In truth, you wouldn't see a shark coming at you soon enough to even start swimming to get away. Most of them hunt on stealth and rarely present themselves if they intend to attack.
So if you see a shark fin in the water that is a good thing. It means that the shark is present and giving you a chance to get the hell out of the water. If you don't take that chance and leave, you may be investigated by the shark as a source of dinner.

Or jump further than a kangaroo, or has a longer neck than a giraffe, or has longer arms than a orangutan, or can play egg and spoon races with lions, or snort ants better than an anteater? Good question
