Why not? Walmart does that anyway...
I want to add my birthday into that uni-holiday to make it personal...

Goodness no. It's bad enough seeing Halloween candy out with back to school sales and Christmas stuff out right after Halloween before you even deal with thanksgiving. The only people that would serve to enhance is the commercial businesses who would make all sorts of new greeting cards and present giving opportunities.

Well, they do have one thing in common, which is that they both celebrate in spirit. One celebrates the spirit of the dead, and the other the spirit of the new born.
But if you're talking more about the conventional holidays, meaning in terms of consumerism and commercializing (which is sadly what every holiday the US has become pretty much), I think it would be harsh for consumers. Although, thinking of it, it is already the case in stores. Christmas is already selling...in october!!!

Well, I'm not sure that the colors are terribly complimentary. Xmas red is rather cherry, whereas Halloween reds tend to be orange-toned.
But I like the idea of putting Santa in a witch's hat, and having the reindeer pull him on a broom.

I already do.
Christmas is the climax and the holiday continues until I go back to work, after New Years.

Not at all because they are the right opposite. For the kids who just want to party it is the same...but you should study the meaning of each celebration

Man, could you imagine all the shopping involved with an idea like that?
The time off from work would be nice though.

no Halloween is a pagan tradition. Christmas is about the birth of Christ though the stores make hayday with it.
