have you ever hear of yin and yang? everything has an opposite, there is a negative and a positive. how would we know how to point out whats good if there was no bad?
If all we saw was the color white, we would not have to call it white to identify it.
good need evil to know the difference, to make a conscious choice.

Evil has been misread. It is simply the opposite of God, and God has no opposite; evil is not a force or an intelligence, or a being. It was originally a symbol for our turning from God.
The reason it seems to be a force or power is that most people believe in it. It is this belief that keeps it seeming to appear. But in truth, there is only God.

There is evil because one in His creation decided to turn on God and attempt to exalt himself above the throne of God (see in the Bible, Isaiah 14:12-15 Ezekiel 28:14-15, and Luke 10:18). Since this being is an eternal being, he didn't just dissipate right then and there when iniquity was found in him, but he was ejected from heaven.
It was the same influence tempting Eve in the garden (Genesis 3). Why was the tempter even there to tempt? The Bible does not specifically say, but it does say that God does not allow His children to be tested above what they're able and that He makes a way of escape in every situation of temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). And since He'd created man in His own image after His own likeness, creating them male and female (Genesis 1;26-27), I suppose He figured they had the goods to handle it. They opted out and swapped those goods for a pipe dream. And now we're in the throes of the results until the appointed time when the gig is up.

God didn't make evil any evil forces around us. Where did you get that idea? People like to be evil because it feels good to them. People make their own choices about being evil.

The Genesis account of creation states that "In the beginning God created all things good". It wasn't until people sought godhood at the Tree of Knowledge that we see a mention of good and evil. Evil exist because people aren't content with good.

God has created a perfect universe populated with perfect beings. That suited a different purpose. In our case, his purpose was to create an imperfect universe populated by imperfect beings who could then work to perfect themselves. His command to us is "Be you perfect, even as I am perfect." At some time in the far distant future, assuming we have accepted God's gift of salvation, we will become experientially perfect even as God is existentially perfect.
One of the gifts God gave to us is free will. He wants us to choose good, but he will not force us to do so. In order for us to be able to truly have the free will option to choose good, it follows that there must be other options to choose. In this case the opposite option is evil. God doesn't create evil, but he did create the potential for evil in order for us to have that free will choice option.
********************
3:5.13 8. Is unselfishness -- the spirit of self-forgetfulness -- desirable? Then must mortal man live face to face with the incessant clamoring of an inescapable self for recognition and honor. Man could not dynamically choose the divine life if there were no self-life to forsake. Man could never lay saving hold on righteousness if there were no potential evil to exalt and differentiate the good by contrast.
********************
In short, there is evil so that we can have the free will option to forsake it and choose good.

god didn't make evil, we did (and do on a regular basis).
We also made god, in thousands of different forms for different times and cultures. There's no devil to blame evil on, it's our own fault. And there's no god to thank for the good things that happen -- that's us, too. The human race should have grown up enough by now to leave childish fairy tales behind, and take responsibility for their own actions...

According to Albert Einstein's explanation, there is no such thing as "evil" as a separate entity --- simply being the absence of good Just as "cold" means the absence of heat. So if God created love and good, men's actions often reflect the absence of love and good, therefore being called "evil".
