I read somewhere recently that we often mistake thirst for hunger.
Try drinking a large glass of water when you get home then wait a few minutes.
After a long day at school it's only natural that you will probably be hungry and your sugar level will probably be a bit low too. Try going for a carbohydrate such a slice of wheat bread - but don't pile on the butter! Obviously fresh fruit and vegetables are a more healthy option, so if your hunger continues, reach for these. If you are still at school, chances are you're still growing, so you do need to eat!!
Recapping:
1. Large glass of water
2. Slice of brown bread
3. Fresh fruit and veg. carrots, apple etc.
If you feel you still have an issue, please consult your doctor. Don't go on any radical diets and don't give in to the rubbish food!!

An after school binge is your bodies way of telling you that you ARE starving. The healthiest way to eat is several small meals throughout the day. It keeps your metabolism up and you burn more fat. Make sure you are eating a balanced diet in small proportions throughout the whole day. Keep healthy snacks in your locker or backpack and munch on them. You should eat something every three-four hours.

You could eat a more carbohydrate based lunch - jacket potatoes are always a filling lunch (but still cheap and relatively healthy). Or you could take an extra piece of fruit to eat on the way home.
Its good to see you are trying to eat the healthy snacks! Maybe try to distract yourself after eating a set amount, its easy to eat when you are bored!

drink a large glass of water before you start to eat, eat snacks that are healthy in small bites and take your time eating, put your fork or spoon down between bites, and eat in the kitchen at the table (not watching tv or reading, etc because you lose track of how much you've eaten), eat off of a small blue plate (small plate will make it seem like more food, blue is proven as an appetite suppresant, eat somehting of "substance" like a small baked potato, salad, fruit salad, make a fruit smoothy (very filling), and drink more water
you could also bring a small piece of fruit or snack to have on the way home

you're actually not eating sufficient something of the time it truly is your concern. an oatmeal and 2 small salads isn't sufficient energy, quite pondering the quantity of exercising you're doing. attempt having some lean protein like fowl, fish or tofu with one salad and a extra carb based meal for the different. you would be fuller so your physique won't call for the severe calorie snacks. It does that because you're ravenous it.

Ask your parents to keep junk food out of the house. Keep loads of fruit or other healthy snacks you like around. Dig for the self control to say, "No, I won't have a bag of crisps!" and get a banana instead. Good luck!

After you have one snack, don't eat anything else for 20 minutes. If after 20 minutes you are still hungry, have another snack. Wait another 20 minutes. It takes 20 minutes for the signal that tells your brain that your stomach is full to reach your brain. In that 20 minutes you can overeat. Usually, if you discipline yourself to wait 20 minutes you will find that you aren't hungry anymore.

Try this:
Take low fat deli ham slices and wrap them around a slice of low fat cheese. Eat these along with some apple slices and a few crackers. Drink plenty of water as well -- often our tummies think we are 'starving' when actually we are more thirsty than hungry. God Bless!!!
