My aunt got divorced about two to three years ago, she has three kids ages 13 girl, 8 boy and 6 girl. yesterday during thanksgiving i noticed when my cousin, the one who is six look over to another niece (1yrs old) who was wrapped in her father's arms. she suddenly jumped into her cousins arms, a male (25) married. i guess he didn't notice what i did but he sort of pushed her away and told her to stop it cause she was trying to cuddle into his arms. i'm not sure what i can do to help her cause she doesn't see her dad often and when she does he's usually sleeping. help.

i'm trying to think of any positive male figures in my family and as sad as this is, i can't think of anyone who might be willing to put up the time. =(

they need a positive male figure in their life to give them love and show them the men can be nurturing too. Maybe see if another family member will be with them, maybe just a play a game at home, or take a walk.

I am sorry to hear what her cousins arms. All she is looking for is a male figure. Try to encourage her with postive things and to show her love. Coming from a divorce family is not easy. I am wrighting a paper in school over this subject and it is not easy to put feelings aside.
