just did a height/weight chart and it says im the correct weight but im not cos i have extra baggage on my stomach/thighs/calves. my arms and chest are quite skinny to the point you can see some of my ribs towards my collarbone. i just wish fat leveled equally out on my body...and i have no mental issues to do with my weight- im not imagining it.

It is a balance between your caloric intake and expenditure. Everyone's is different. That is why you can see your friends guzzle down coke after coke with tons of chocolate cake and not get fat. What you need to understand is that this will all catch up to them one day as their metabolic rate slows down and can't burn off all of the calories that they are consumming. Take it easy and watch what you eat. Eat in moderation. We as Americans consume way to much than what we really need to eat. For example, the pasta should be two servings (8 oz total). The sauce should not contain meat or cheese. All of those store bought sauces may contain by products that are not healthy. Eat fresh fruits and vegtables with every meal. Stay away from junk food . Excessive portions of even healthy foods are also unhealthy. Also, and most importantly excercise!!! It's the best thing to do for a body.

Happy eating!!!

that is not wayyyyy too much and it depends on the portions. pasta and sauce packs a lot of calories into a small portion although it may not seem like it. you should really not eat more than a cup or so of pasta. then, just have half as much sauce. add salad or more veggies to feel more full. for breakfast try to eat a low cal cereal and fruit instead of eggs and toast everyday. eggs are healthy and bread is not bad for you, but make sure you eat whole wheat bread. if you are going to have eggs and toast try to keep it to one egg and one piece of toast and be sure to eat a piece of fruit, so you get a balanced breakfast. OR pick one day to have a nice big breakfast with eggs and all the rest. do not eat doritos everyday. the cheese and tomato sandwich are ok if you keep the cheese to a minimum. jaffa cakes have a lot of cals. try to eat a low cal yogurt or just one jaffa cake or fruit salad with a bit of light canned whipped cream (only about 15 cals a table spoon). what i do is it eat well during the week and keep treats to a minimum. no chips or fast food. i choose one day a week to eat whatever i want. no pig out (well sometimes i do hahaha), but have slices of pizza for dinner or have a nice bowl of icecream. also, try walking more or exercising. work out with a friend. not just to be slim but it will help you with stress, regulate your body, etc. keep in mind you are not overweight medically, try not to get too obsessed AND some people can eat whatever they want and not gain weight (lucky them, right?). don't judge by what your friends eat. judge by what is good for YOU! you are only 16, you still have growing time and your figure still has to form. people need some weight to remain healthy. being really skinny is not healthy....especially since you still have growing to do, you need a little extra protection. be patient, be happy, eat healthy (at least most of the time hehe), and take care of yourself.

hope this helped! ask more if need more help and guidance! :)

Please, I think she is saying she weighs 9 stone 6 pounds
Roughly 134 US pounds.

I dont think you are terribly over weight. I don't know a better way yo explain it but if you don't have "back fat" on your shoulder blades, or a belly that over hangs your pants, I would have to say you are NOT over weight.

If you have these then you might need to do some toning exercises. Watch your calories, carbs and other sugars.
Do not deprive yourself of treats like chocolates or other things you like just dont eat tons of them.

Remember exercise helps increase your metabolism, I was always told to exercise in the morning to get a good kick start on things. Do eat good foods and do not do extreme diets or you will burn muscle not fat. The key is to burn fat and build muscle..starving yourself does the opposite.

Tone the areas you "think" have extra baggage. Go by a gym and ask a femal trainer what she thinks about the "baggage" that way you have an outside opinion to work with.

Good luck...

Eating too much is relative--are you overweight according to the charts? If you are, you eat too much relative to your activity level--then your option is to cut back on the eating or to increase the exercise.

If you are unhappy with your size and you suffer no body image issues (mental health) then you need to do something about it, again, that's increase the exercise or cut back on the eating....

I put your 96 lb weight and age 16 into a Body Mass Calculator and it says you are underweight. You could have a body image problem if you think you are overweight. The calculator says:

"Based on the height and weight entered, the BMI is 16.0, placing the BMI-for-age below the 1st percentile for boys aged 16 years 9 months. This teen is underweight and should be seen by a healthcare provider for further assessment to determine possible causes of underweight."

This is a matter of physiology and mostly the inheritet part of it.
It`s just like that some people have faster metabolism and process calories faster than others, so they can stuff them selves like hell and not having all this food stick on their buts ;-)
Unfortunately (for me) I am from the other, not so much benefitet from nature people, who eats little, yet gains the most out of it.

Just eat healthy, excersice your body and like yourself the way YOU are! :-)
