wow. okay, let me give this a shot. in my opinion, i believe Jesus is the only way to salvation.

1. i believe truth and morality do exist, and there is a standard for both of them.

2. i do not believe all faiths are able to save us, in part because they don't all agree. there are too many contradictions. how can we believe in both a polytheistic faith and a monotheistic faith? they contradict one another. and i do not believe we need to know the whole truth to be able to know any truth. we do not have to have all the answers to be able to know truth.

3. i believe Jesus points us to the sole way of salvation.

4. the Bible claims that every nation, every tribe, every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord. and i believe in the cause of missionaries, who are bringing knowledge of Jesus around the world to unreached people groups.

these are my beliefs. hope this helps!

1. Truth and morality exist.....definitely
2. You can say that one particular religion offers a true view of the world and shows others to be false......That is precisely what the world religions do. The acceptance of the religion is made by each individual and it is the basis of their faith ....eg. some people accept the Bible as the revealed word of God and others do not.....to the Bible believers it is accepted as fact.
3. The unique claims of Jesus point us to the sole way of salvation only for those that accept Him.
4.Those who have never heard of the gospel and every one else will be JUDGED according to their works. Rev. 20: 11-12

Jesus Christ represents the truth of us, that we are the Son of God. He told us we are gods, and can do the things he did, and even greater things. People took "I am the way" to mean that there is a catch to "salvation"; that if we do not meet certain criteria, we cannot be in the club.

Yes, there is truth, and only the truth is true, but it is far more intelligent and logical than the world believes and has been taught.

All teachings teach the same thing...all teachings "end up" in the same "place". They may not agree, or teach 100% of truth, but nearly all teach some form of the Golden Rule, including native cultures that as you point out, never heard of the Gospel. All morality lies in this Rule...as a wise man said many centuries ago, "That [The Golden Rule] is the whole law; the rest is commentary."

ANSWERS

1. Truth does exist and He is called Jesus Christ, the Author of Truth. The only Absolute Truth. Morality without Him will fail because it's not firmly planted in soil that is eternal.

2. Jesus' claim to be the Son of God was proven beyond doubt by Him being able to defy the laws of physics which no man can do. Therefore, the claims which Jesus made must be either excepted or rejected. Was Jesus telling the Truth or was He lying? He said He was the Son of God, the only way to heaven, and proved it by the miracles that He'd done.

3. Yes, all other faiths are false because of Jesus' claim THAT ONLY HE COULD BACK UP. All other beliefs were established by men with ideas. Men who died and remained dead. They may have had some good things to say but they have no authority outside of Almighty God, whereas Jesus WAS God.

4. The Bible is clear in showing that by the end of time, the return of Jesus to this earth, the Gospel will have traveled to the ends of the earth. In the meantime, I'll be honest with you and tell you that I don't know for certain what happens to the people who never hear the Gospel. (For example, some tribal community in the middle of nowhere South America). My best guess is that God, in His mercy, will provide a way for these people to either except Him or reject Him in a way that makes sense to the individual personally.

Whoa. Well first I think Jesus is the way. Truth and morality exist; the statement that all truth is relative can't be true if all truth is relative, and the confusion that causes, along with logic and reason, confirm that there is truth.
If there is truth then certain things must be un-truths. So if all religions are correct then truth is relative...which it's not. So there is one religion that has the full truth, while others are not totally true.
Jesus's claims are unique, yes, but the documents that record those claims are historically reliable. There is proof that His way is the sole way of salvation.
However...those who have not heard the Gospel can be saved. If they follow the natural law written on their hearts- their consciences as well- they can be saved because they are doing good, following God, without actually knowing it.

Truth is a person - Jesus Christ. The Bible says "Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through the Son." There is no other way to Heaven and Eternal Life. But remember this is not a religion - it is a relationship with Jesus and God - very, very different. As for those who have not heard the gospel, I believe God will judge that - not for me to say. That is why we send missionaries to give the Good News - so that all will hear.

All good questions and all can be answered simply. Christ's sacrifice is the only way we can be forgiven of our sins. His gospel is the gospel of truth and life. Those who have not heard the gospel will be given the chance. No one will be judged for that which they do not know.

I feel like I became the target on this question. How can anyone who perfeses to believe in Christ and his mission and a merciful and just God say that he would condemn someone for something they had never even heard. You people are the same ones who say an unbaptised child who passes goes to hell. I feel sorry for you. You miss the point of Christianity. It is not a religion for only the eleit but a religion for all those who will except christ as their savior. If they have not heard the truth who are you to say that they should go to hell. God is merciful and just and will give all his children a chance to choose for them selves. I sugest you all look at yourselves and see if you truly believe what you do if you are really following the teachings of Christ.
