Okay, we Hispanics believe that when we are surrounded by jealous people we should wear something red. For example, someone I know just bought a car and there are some jealous bitches that can't stand to hear about it. Now, to protect both her and the car should that person place something red in the car.. for example a red bow, red lace?

Forget the red theory. That is just man trying to help himself. Read some scripture on covetessness (The overwhelming desire for things not yours).

It is a sin to covet anything of this world.

Just pray for the person that God would set her heart straight. That is your best weapon against her jealousy.

Break it down a little futher. Not all Hispanics cultures have such a tradition.

why not as if this would bring a feeling of comfort why not. certainly wouldn't hurt anything and if one can do something to feel better without hurting another I say " do it ".
