Can you mix the smooth with one that is texture.
For instance, put granola in her oatmeal.
Or raisins in her yogurt and pudding.
Strawberries in her icecream.
Rice in her soup.
Things like that... and this is not just with austistic children, kids in general are very pickey eaters!!!
Good Luck! ♥

Sorry dont really have any ideas to help but know exactly where your coming from as my autistic son will only eat crispy dry foods which is the opposite to your daughter. Wish i knew the answer but i can only say that my son is now 23 and survives on toast dry cereal and crisps!! Despite this he is healthy and of a normal weight . Maybe one day we will be able to find a way through hey!! Good luck.

Each child will of course be different, but you might try requiring her to eat one very, very tiny piece of another food, such as a small piece of broccoli or carrot, and then let her eat favorite foods as a "reward" for trying a new food. After she is doing this consistently, you might try very gradually increasing the amount of the other food that she needs to eat first, until it becomes a typical portion.
In the meantime, I would try to just have a variety of smooth-textured foods available, so that she is getting as close as possible to a balanced diet.
Best of luck to you and I hope this helps!

My 10 year old niece was the same way. Just this summer, she started expanding what she would eat.
My brother said trying to pressure her just made things worse. We would always expose her to other foods, with out any pressure. She loved sniffing stuff & would sometimes even put something in her mouth for a second. Last year she started to eat a few more things & just in the pst few months she started to eat a lot more stuff.
