Top sirloin tastes best when cooked on a lightly greased grill. Sear the out side (This seals in the juices and flavor) and then cook until rare, medium whatever you like. I like to season with garlicsalt and pepper. The peppers should be stir fried , I add onions and mushrooms also. Served with a baked potato, slathered in butter, sour cream and chives. A dinner salad and you're all set..

Bon Appetite

season thew steak how you choose then cook it on the stove. cut the stove on low so it wont cook too fast on the outside and too slow on the inside. so once the steak is about 3/4 done cut up the peppers into strips(without the seeds)and put it in there with the steak with a little butter. the peppers cook while the steak finishes and the peppers dont take long to get done so they should be done at about the same time.
~glad i could help~

You could slice the peppers and add onions to the mix.
1/2 pepper, 1/2 onion. Sliced thinly.

Get some olive oil, chop 2 cloves of garlic finely.

Heat the pan with about 1 tbsp of olive oil.
Add the garlic, turn down heat to medium.
Garlic should not get toasty.

Then add the peppers and onion. Saute that around in the pan until they are medium soft, give it a couple of minutes.

Cover it and set it to the side.

Cook the steak.

Then put the peppers over top.

He loves your steak made the way you make it or he would have asked for something done different. As to the peppers I like mine a bit crisp when served with steak. i slice them length wise and toss them in a skillet with butter pepper and salt. Cook for a few minutes until their color really starts to pop out at you, I then add my onions and saute a few more minutes. But this is for slightly crispy veggies some people like their veggies all mushy but I am a man and need some SNAP in my food.

Try this:

Heat up a frying pan on HIGH.
When hot throw in steak and sear one side for 30 seconds and then flip it and sear other side.
Then add 1 1/2 cups water and reduce heat to medium.
Add the peppers and any other spices your husband may like.
Then cover and reduce heat to simmer.
Cook until it's reached your husband's preference (rare, medium, well).

Slice the steak in strips, slice the peppers in strips, and roast together in the oven.
