Colors have different connotations and symbolisms in different cultures. For example, some Japanese believe that red can ward off evil and regard orange as the color of love. I just read in this forum that some Hispanics believe that wearing something red protects against the ill effects of jealousy. (I hadn't heard that before.)
Is it true that wearing something red will ward off evil? I know of no confirmable evidence to show that this works.

Nothing you wear actually wards off evil. Praying wards off evil.

Evil isn't a substance. It's not something that you get on you.
It is a judgement. Sorry, but you can't stop people from judging you any more than you can stop judging others. What people consider evil changes from person to person. Some things people consider more evil than other things. Some things that some people consider good, others consider evil.

Sounds like a superstition, which I don't believe in. To ward off evil, all one needs to do is have belief in God.

No all you have to do when you feel that evil is around you is say the name Jesus and evil has no chance. Remember God has given Christians power over the enemy

In my opinion, to ward off evil, you pray and not believe in superstitions.

In my house, nobody believes this. Go talk to God, that may ward off evil.

"If God is for us, who can be against us?"
The only thing my God has told me to do is keep my heavenly armor on at all times.
You can read about this in Ephesians chapter 6.
This is all you need.
