L'Oreal makes a color remover, which will strip the color from your hair, leaving it colorless. There is no way to 'remove' added color from hair, as it changes the structure of the hair. Once you have stripped your hair, you will have to re-dye it, and it is incredibly hard on your hair. The least damaging way to do get your natural color back is to grow it out; or, if you can, color on top of your dye job the color you want and then let it grow out. The stripper works to take out even 'blue black' - but it really is hard on your hair, and if you can wait, you'll be better off not using it.

Try the hair color remover called Color Fix. When you remove the dye from your hair it probably will not be your natural color, most of the time it turns orange after using color remover, so you will have to recolor your hair a color close to your natural color. Hair color remove is also damaging, but it is better to use rather then bleach. After removing the color you can get reconstructor treatments at a salon (deep conditioning treatments). Then recolor. Good luck

Hi -
First of all DO NOT add any more color to your hair...Especially permanents... The chemicals in it will tear your hair up... I would highly recommend you go to a health food store and purchase Henna hair products, or buy you a Semi Permanent color... What you want to do is stain your roots of your orginal color and mask it...It will take a month or so for your roots to absorb the temp color........
Hope this helps...and yeah- been there done that....

You can get it done professionally but i didnt really like the results i have naturally aurben hair but ended up with mousey, and they home kits just make you blonde or very light .... and most off all they reck your hair. Your best dying your hair to your naturalist colour then let the dye grow out!

If you colored your hair too dark you can only hope to lighten it up a bit faster by shampooing more. You can add a bit of powder laundry soap to your shampoo each time and this will hurry up the process but I think it will only lighten it faster. Nothing I know of will take it back to the original color except time!

Go to a Sally's and ask them I have never done this
--or--
Grow your hair out if your not in a rush just let your hair grow and cut it when it gets long the dye doesn't go below the scalp that's why you have to get touch ups
