Some People don't realize that believers don't give a hoot what they believe in. Some people consistently come on here stirring up strife and wanting attention when they come to a religious section thinking that someone wants to convert them when they are lost and cannot be help! To put it plainly,No One Cares!

i think most people just have a problem with getting defensive. if you don't agree with their beliefs then it is somehow a personal attack upon them or what is important to them. they think "hey i don't believe in that god imparticular" means "screw whatever you believe in and what matters to you and your god can kiss my butt!" when you did not mean that at all! people are also scared of people who don't share their beliefs. it can make them question themselves, for instance. there are so many reason whys, but one thing is for sure...we are all guilty of it every once in awhile when it comes to judging, but when people get all pissy about it....yeah, it's the worst.

I get pissed off when people come on this site just to put other people and their beliefs down. It's obvious the askers are just trying to be clever because their lives are so empty

I think they get offended, not because people don't accept each others religions, but they criticize. Last time I checked, trying to persuade someone into your religion isn't by bashing the one they have.

I'll be happy when religious preference is on the same level of importance as a person's eye color. And why would we all want to have the same eye color?

Damian Marley says "everyone has a right to an opinion" but apparently if your opinion of the afterlife is different than mine I have to kill you because....it is so stupid and I don't get it either.

well you will find to different people, people who will ridicule you and "damn you" and the people that are sincerly trying to help you, though they may be miserable at it. However I will attest that when you call someone stupid, it does not help convince them to join your belief

Dogma is corrupting.

I'm a religious person, but I am not ruled by any dogma; hence, I am not upset by people who have different beliefs than mine. I am only upset when people get upset with me for my different beliefs.
