You are beautiful just the way you are. You are in a healthy weight range for your height. You are only 13.

You are NOT fat. You are just fine. You are beautiful. You do not need a diet.

If you lost 10 pounds in a week, you'd probably have a heart attack and maybe die. No one wants you to die.

I don't know if you've ever heard of J.K. Rowling and Harry Potter, but Ms. Rowling wrote something on her official site that is relevant to this situation:

http://www.jkrowling.com/textonly/en/extrastuff_view.cfm?id=22

Please remember that size 8 to 14 is the normal size range for the average American woman, not size 00 like some models.

You are healthy, you are beautiful, you are just fine the way you are. Enjoy your adolescence without worrying what anyone else thinks of you, because it's YOUR opinion that counts the most, not the opinons of everyone else out there.

I think you should cut out your junk food intake and exercise. Other than that I would leave it alone. Your body is still growing and developing and needs a little extra body fat for this process. I am concerned about the way you are asking for help. 128 is not bad. You don't need to look like Paris Hilton. No body does to tell you the truth. She is skanky. You are only 13. I think that if you do these two things now and drink more water you should do well. I will warn you, THERE IS NO EASY WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT! I don't care what the TrimSpa commericals tell you. At 13 you don't need to be taking that crap anyway. Lots of it is bad for you. I would also talk to your doctor to look at exactly how much you need to weigh to be healthy. Then, if you start working out, throw the scale away. If you are athletic, your muscle weighs more than your fat, so you will be heavier, but you will look good. Pay attention to how you feel and how your clothes fit. Don't worry so much about numbers. Please, consider what I've said before you start participating in dieting. You are not that heavy. Given a little time and attention, I think a healthy diet and exercise will really work for you in the long run.

You are too young to be worrying about dieting! You should be more concerned about eating HEALTHY and staying active. Don't get sucked into fad diets or roller coaster dieting. Losing 10 lbs. in a week is way too much. When people lose that much all at once, it's mostly water weight and will come right back when they stop dieting. One to two pounds is better, and you would be more likely to keep it off.

Go here: http://vm.cfsan.fda.gov/~dms/foodlab.html and learn about how to read food labels. It may seem confusing at first, but you will get the hang of it. Do you cook? You might try searching for healthy recipes. Go to http://www.kraftfoods.com/kf/HealthyLiving/ for easy recipes or search the internet.

By the way, you are not fat. See a doctor if you don't believe me. You may feel better if you toned up a little. Try joining the YMCA or school sports.

P.S. I am 4'9" and weigh 160 lbs. I have struggled with my weight ever since I can remember. The most I ever weighed was 180. I wish I would have learned at a younger age to eat healthier, instead of trying fad diets or starving myself.

try the 3 Hour Diet by Jorge Cruise

1. within 30 minutes of getting up in the AM, eat/drink something healthy. doesn't have to be much.
2. spend 5 or 10 minutes doing some kind of exercise

3. every 3 hours, eat something, one time a snack, the next time a meal, and so on thru - out the day up until 1 hour before you go to bed. at that time, stop eating.

want to make this work better? spend part of your day doing actual exercise that makes your heart beat a little faster than normal, and makes your body feel like you've put in a full day in the gym.

1. You are not fat by any stretch.
2. The best diet program is to eat healthy. Lower, fat sugar intake. Also, eating foods whith a low glycimic index will help you lose and keep it off. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glycemic_index

How do I know? I lost 50lbs following this type of program. I ate lots of veggies and lean meats. Stoped drinking soda and eating items with a high sugar content.

Lastly, as long as you are comfortable in your own skin, dont worry about your weight. Just be happy!

Good luck.

For starters, i personally dont think youre fat.
But i know words can only do so much when we're fussing over our bodies.
Getting on a drastic diet at your age will ruin your metabolism, trust me. It doesnt hurt to start better eating habits, it'll help you during your teen years since your body is going through drastic changes.

- Eat more fruits and veggies, if you have trouble with veggies
(v8 juice is a great option!)
- white meat (chicken breast and/or fish). with brown rice or
wheat bread.
- NO junk food, if you have cravings opt for the baked version or
snack on fruits or yogurt. i eat yoplait whips chocolate mousse
when im craving for chocolate.
- Drink lots of water, if you could eliminate soda from your diet
even better!
- Run Run Run! at least 30 mins a day.. or walk if you like walking
better.
- participate in a sport at your school its working out and having
fun at the same time, since its better to work out with friends.
- take your multivitamin everyday.

Hope thats not too hard for you! Good luck!

Sorry but ten pounds in a week is really unhealthy. Your body mass index is 21.968 which is healthy. If you feel like you need to lose weight then try to do some toning exercises. Go to seventeen.com and look at their health section.
