I recently left my job and I don't want to go back to the same, I sold cars for 15 years and i'm tired of it. I'm going back to school but I'm not really sure what to study, at first I wanted to study networking or web desing, but when I talk to my wife she says that why not study something in the financing field since I've been doing it for a long time,
I don't know what to do now.

I can only suggest that you think about what you REALLY like to do. Since you are returning to school you may have to take a few basic education classes and this will give you time to evaluate your options.

If Information Technology is your passion, go for it. There will always be advances in IT and opportunities for people who actually know IT. Don't go into IT if you are thinking about the money because you will soon get frustrated and may feel trapped in the field.

If you really like financing, there are endless opportunities here, also. Besides auto, there is also real estate, stocks, banking, accounting, law enforcement, teaching, etc. Don't get bogged down by thinking narrowly.

Whatever you do, make sure you like it. You may decide on a career course different from which you have considered so far. Having an enjoyable career is more important than having a lucrative one. Of course, it is great to have both!!

Best of luck to you!

Go with a field that you know you will enjoy. Although I'm sure you value your wife's opinion, web design/networking seems to be what you're more sure about. So go for it! Financing might remind you too much of the car salesman job. Good luck!

Well, do what you are passionate about. If you like finace, do that. If you don't like finance, stick with the networking or web design.

You should go into something you like. Take some general classes first to decide what you are interested in.
