There are four basic sources for grants and scholarships out there. It costs nothing to locate and use them.

First, there is the FAFSA.ed.gov which will tap into both federal and college need based financial assistance.

Second, most college financial aid office websites list private scholarships from companies and organizations.

Third, Google.com and Yahoo.com list specific scholarships and free membership scholarship search engines. It is always wise to search for your major on the web.

Finally, there are the free membership scholarship search websites. I have listed some.
