This is old news. For those who are educated on the science of evolution, this isn't anything new. for those who aren't, they are going to plug their ears, or try to justify it by saying it was put there as a test, or they are going to say the fossil is fake or something. They don't believe THESE scientists, but they sure believe science when their cell phones work.
Great link.

If creatures do evolve, that doesn't really make any difference to me. I believe in God, and I believe He created us. Whether or not I know how it all happened, doesn't matter. I still believe in God.
What difference does it make if people have been wrong about HOW creation happened. If there is evidence of evolution, so what? Some Christians believe that creation and evolution are both possible. I read an article in Time magazine about a scientist who's a Christian, and he really doesn't think science and his belief in God are contradictory.
You may be able to prove certain things that have happened on the earth over time, but can you really disprove the existence of God?

I have to take exception to that thing about the earth being round. It's flat because it looks flat to me and I don't care about scientific evidence - it's all well...gobbeldygook lol.
Seriously, I wish that evidence mattered at all to Creationists, but their circular logic will remain just that, circular and mind-numbing. Nice link though, very interesting!

They have the front part of the head and a collection of bones for one fin. No radiometric dating has been released yet, so we only have coastal strata to date the fossil, which is notoriously unstable and unreliable.
This information was released in April, so this still needs to be verified, which it has not...remember Piltdown Man!!!
Keep in mind that transitional fossils ("missing links", if you will) STILL need to be found for every species currently extant on the planet in order for a good case to be built for evolution...we're still waiting.
Edit: If an evolutionist has a proven example of a transitional form...please post it.

1) Damn youre a hottie.
2) All they will say is "Where is the transitional fossil between this one and the next?" While it is a weak arguement, it is all they have. Every time science has provided an example of a transitional fossil, they have asked for another one between the two.....
3) damn youre a hottie. Wait a sec, I already said that....

I don't see why this would make any more impact on the die-hard creationists than the Lungfish or Cylocanth....
and of course that doesn't conflict whatsoever for the SANE people who believe in BOTH through something like the concept of Guided creation (in short, that God used creation as his method of making things how they are, and helped it along sometimes)

Next would be more illumination on the "Cambrian Explosion." We don't know what happened then, or even if the "Explosion" was a real phenomenon and not just an artifact of the vagaries of fossil preservation.

Most of 250,000 known fossil species are evidence of macroevolution - incremental change from one species/genus/family etc to the next up the geological column.
Creationists simply close their eyes.... as to no surprise they have continued to do.

Religious types are notorious for not admiting some as truth when it is in plain sight, their Books are the only source that they trust.
But it reinforces my belief as an atheist to see the crocidile fish, nice link

God probably just made that website to confuse us. Evolution is a crazy idea. It's much more plausible that a gigantic man in the sky snapped his fingers and created everything.
