I want to gain weight but the right kind of weight. I don't want to be the smallest thing in the gym, and i'm not that strong, so are there any exercise routines that can help me gain some muscle and get stronger, fast, so i'm not on the "kiddie machines"? I want to get bigger, but i don't want to get fat, so what should i eat?

Fish is good, look at a weight gainer like Gain Mass, chicken, lean beef, turkey, complex carbs like brown rice, or whole grain pasta are good options too. Try to eat 5 times a day to boost your metabolism so you can eat more, the more calories you ingest the more weight you will gain. Push ups, pull ups, dips on a counter top, and lunges are good exercises to get you started. Who really cares if you are the smallest person in the gym, people will respect you for being there, if someone says something to you just call them a d*ick, because obviously they don't remember when they were small.

That is easy. For your arms start by doing push ups at home, make sure you keep your stomach tight and your back parrellel to the floor. You can also do squats to build up your quads. If you want to use weights try water bottles full of water, cheap and easy. Look for exercises that don't require equipment like in Men's Health. There are also good routine's in alot of the woman's magazines too.

That's kinda pointless, don't you think? Gaining muscle before hitting the gym. Don't worry, you won't be the only runt there and at least when you go to the gym, you'll be able to talk to someone (like a trainer) that can really help you out.

If you can exercise and gain muscle before joining a gym, why join? You'll have figured how to do what you want without the gym membership.
