You can catch the greyhound to SD from Anaheim...and to go to Universal Studies you can try the public transportation...the OCTA can connect you to buses in the LA area to get to Universal Studios.

Public transportation might not be the easiest or fastest way to get around in this case. Renting a car would be a lot easier.

You can take a train, or sometimes, certain hotel packages have shuttles that go to each location. If you go by car, it'll take long no matter how you go b/c of the traffic.
