Does that mean that someone who snagged you would get the bounty that's out on your @ss. You never mentioned what you failed to appear for. I could use the extra change and a new career, maybe I could start with you?? You're going to risk getting arrested because of a shorter route, how did you manage to evade all this time?

look at it this way in the last eight years if you ever were pulled over for any reason or your name searched in any database, by police, plus how would you know unless on the run, if all your documents are up to date chances are they would've found you. It might just be a regional warrant not canada wide. and if you are not sure don't take the risk and when you get home look into the matter, or call the regional police where you live and ask over the phone, and if they say yes then tell them you will turn yourself in when you get home. Or cross get caught and get a free plane ride home lol.

WHY would you want to buy booze in Canada to take to the USA example 1 24 of premium beer in canada is $ 38.40 that very same box of beer in usa will cost $ 17.00 quite a difference whiskey vodka rum all are the same difference in price and its the very same beer or liquor and can be bought at any usa border store and if you get caught with more than 1 24 or 1 bottle you will be in major trouble with customs and they will refuse you future travel accross the border. and yes the canadain customs have the same list of bad folks as the americans do and they do know who you are. BEWARE i live 500 feet from the usa and go there almost every day and i get car searched every time i go

Yes they can find it if they look. But since its in Canada and you say thats where you live why should the US customes guy care? He may not let you into the US but I do not think they would arrest you.

they most certainly do have access to that information. just like when someone from the states get popped for dwi, the canadian customs know about it. dont take any chances when you make this trip, and when your back home, look into clearing up the matter....depending on what the warrant is for you might want to make good on it....good luck

suck it up and deal with the fine. Then you don't have to worry about it. Stay in Canada...don't bring your problems to the U.S! Sheesh!
