I think that most people know when they are eating the wrong foods.
Try this, next week, make a journal of your daily routine, including physical activties and the foods you are eating and drinking. Then see what room you can fit in for exercise or what foods you think you could cut out.

Sorry sweets, the only way to do this is working out and eating less... all of which you seem unlikely to accomplish with your laid back attitude. Im a VERY laid back person myself, but I eat accordingly...The definition of OBESITY is calorie intake exceeding calorie outtake... So if you are eating more than you expend... you will continue to gain weight. While eating all those great foods is fun... its not worth a life of being over weight and ridiculed for it. I say wisen up now sweetie cuz its only going to get harder. If you really want to lose weight, then you gotta go cold turkey on the second helpings and kick your butt into gear. I lost about 20 lbs in 3 months by working out and eating according to how much I expend and it worked wonderful. I know it would work for you, but doubt very much that you will follow through. It takes effort to lose weight, and willingness to do so. If you dont want to put in the effort then expect to continue gaining weight till someday the doctors start to tell you that you are diabetic and might lose your legs, or till you are so big you cant buy clothes at your favorite stores anymore. I've seen all this stuff first hand... So sorry if I sound harsh... but I hate it when people complain about their weight, but then eat mcdonalds 3 times a day or even once a day.... Thats ridiculous! YOU CANT COMPLAIN IF YOU ARENT WILLING TO WORK ON IT!

I'm not saying that this is for you, but its helped me maintain my weight over the years and i enjoy doing it.
You can look up dance classes in your local area, there are so many different types (hip-hop, jazz, lyrical, ballet, tap, ball room)
if you wanted to you could try hip-hop/tap they both keep you moving and you don't have to be very flexiable to do them.
Also most dance studio's will let you take the 1st class free, so you can try it out if you like it great if not then its not for you. Mostly find something that keeps you active and you enjoy doing.
Weather its yoga, dancing, some kind of sport......just have fun while doing it.
As far as your eatting habits i'm not gonna grill you for eating 'the good stuff' i'm like that too. But one thing that's helped me with that was to learn when i was full, meaning to stop eating before your stomach is 'stuffed'. If your a soda person like me (drinking as least a soda a day) then cut back to every two days. Here's a big thing that helped me loses weight, don't eat just because you want something to munch on. And when watching t.v. do stomach cruches inbetween comercials. (you know your doing crunches right when your stomach is warm/burning.)
Hope what i said helps.......

Go see your doctor to get help. It sounds like you want to weigh less but aren't willing to do the work to get there. I have lost over 30 pounds by eating a very restricted diet that my doctor worked out for me and exercising very hard for at least 30 minutes a day, six days a week.
I work out to tapes, go to kickboxing class and use a stability ball. You need to make time for 30 minutes a day.

Try weight watchers. Try to get into a pe class or a group of friends that are active. Walk around the block with your mp3/ cd player. But it sounds like you are healthy anyway.

eat in smaller portions but instead of 3 times a day eat 6. Small breakfast. small snack, lunch, small snack, dinner, small snack/dessert. Check with your doctor first to make sure this wont have andy negative effects on your health. keep eating veggies. use smaller plates to cut down on your portions.
