Today I entered three poundcakes. I also made a "Spie" - Spam meat pie for the National Spam Contest, and a Southern Cornbread Salad for the Hidden Valley Ranch contest.

I entered Chili called the Seven Muscle Chili.
It wasn't called Seven Muscles because it was hot, it was because I secretly used 7 kinds of meat. Chicken, Ground Chuck and Ground Filet Mignon beef, deer, rabbit, and a few other un-named meats that you actually wouldn't want to know about. I made it pretty spicy too. I watched the judges slurp it down and ask me "What's in this?" haha i told them it was a huge secret. I got first prize. I think it was the aligator that did it.

I enter 4 chickens every year. But I don't cook them.
