I love you. LOVE YOU.... thank you for saying that. Jesus did come to divide, and He came to change hearts by showing the love demonstrated on the cross. We have the freedom of choice BECAUSE of his actions.

Most Christian teachings have reversed the words in the Old Testament. Had we stayed with it as Jesus said He come not to abolish the Law but to fulffill it and had he done it completely maybe we will not be in these state of curse. Maybe we could have already experienced the peace eversince.
All the Main Characters of the Old Testaments from Abraham to Solomon, even if they committed errors against the Lord died of old age because when they said sorry and went back to the Lord the were blessed again but from the time of Jesus as soon as John the Baptist proclaimed Divinity of Jesus all the Main characters of the New testament died horrible death from the cross, swords and burning stakes and even the last Pope died from ailment and not of old age (though he is found to be good). Would you not ever wonder why?

So if I rebuke your answer and you despise me, what does that make you?
Sorry, just playing with words a little. I tend to agree with you, everyone tends to bend the scripture to their liking. For example, pretty much every christian will say that the 10 commandments must be obeyed BUT they don't see anything wrong with working on Sunday. But that's one of them, isn't it?
Or how about allowing women to speak in church. The bible clearly states in
Cor14:34
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
But, there is always some coming up with politically correct views, well they can all go to hell... as will I of course, because I believe that every Jesus is a made up Jesus... except for my wife's cousin, but he's in Spain right now...

Depeche mode. People will believe what they want to believe, when they are stubborn and self centered. To them, Jesus is always 'on their side'...as opposed to standing between and promoting peace. When a majority of the world takes it's eyes off of what the other is doing, and looks toward an omniscient God, maybe the versions of Christ will begin to come together, schizms can be sealed again.....we hope

Much, if not indeed all, of the Jesus of scripture is made up, too. People have different conceptions and interpretations. That's just the way it is. One person believes Jesus was God; others believe that he was not God, but the Son of God; still others think he was merely a Prophet; and still others believe he was just a man, not God, Son, or Prophet. Some think he's entirely fictional, while others believe he lived but wasn't worthy of respect, worship, or emulation.

Any other Jesus is not the real one. Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the real one. The trinity revealed in the bible is the real one.
Some don't believe in the Bible Jesus Christ and their family member might. So there is a spiritual divide. What agreement is there between an anti-christ & Christ? So that is a sword of disagreement in the home. Some religions even disown their family member or kill family member who believes in Jesus Christ. Then it is a real sword.

Most people cannot answer very simple questions that come right out of the Bible in very clear text.
It's easier to just believe whatever you want, that way you can go on acting like a hoo hah and answer to no one for it, which is the whole problem in the first place.
