And Deist is defined in the same dictionary as: "One who believes in the existence of a God or supreme being but denies revealed religion, basing his belief on the light of nature and reason."

to believe in God is to believe in life for he is where it all originated from - therefore it is not a religion but a way of life.

Maybe you are a seeker?
Religion as such is not necessary to believe but it is necessary to believe what God has told us about Himself and us in His book the Bible. 'If ye believe in God believe also in me' said Jesus Christ.
If you believe in God you will seek to Know Jesus Christ and when you find Him as your Saviour you will join with like minded Christians to worship and learn more of the things of God.

Most likely lazy. If you believe in God AND religion you have to go to Church on Sunday and some people do not like to give up any time to go to Church or pray for that matter, they just believe in God when it is convenient.

huh? you need to believe in some description of religion to believe in God. not necessarily Christianity or Islam or anything, but you have to have some sort of belief system,which is a religion.
