Thankfully the second seat I purchased in one day keeps my grandson securely restrained.
I drove to another mothercare today said i had brought this seat and that my grandchild able to get his arms out within 20 minutes of purchasing it, the lady came out to the car as soon as i opened the door she said that strap should not be twisted when i said it's the way the store fitted it, i told her the chap tried several seats before saying this one was ok, she told me to take it back it's not right for my car. I then took out my receipt and said i have brought it back she was a bit shocked. So much for Mothercare fitters and child safety.
Please don't be so quick to blame the parent/grandparent by saying the straps were not tight enough I did every thing the chap told me to do, Maxi Cosi Tobi £169.99 2 fingers at the shoulder, the strap has a green arrow, when pulled as tight as it can go the green arrow tells you it is fitted correctly. All the was done.
