You are not responsible for him or his life. If he reacts badly to the break-up and starts doing more drugs, well, it is tragic, but it would be his fault, not yours. He has to make up his own mind to get his own life together. If you stay with him, you probably cannot help him; you will only get dragged down with him.

Break up any way that you can. Send an e-mail, leave a voice message, call him on the phone --whatever. Just get away from him and let him sort out his own problems.

If you mean "become violent against you" if you break up, then just call him on the phone and do it. Just tell him you've noticed some changes in him and are no longer comfortable being around him.

If you mean react badly as in doing something stupid, just remember that you can't be held accountable for what he does. I've not known too many drug users that were sweet and gentle. They are more consistently unstable and out of control. Again, you have not control or responsibility over how he reacts to a breakup. Don't use your concern as an excuse not to do what you know needs to be done.

OK i may be a guy but i have 2 sisters and sometimes i give them advice and i might be able to give you advice you say that youre boy has problems and youre right he might get real mad and maybe hit you so i have three options 1 tell your parents or relatives (but dont tell nobody else) 2 tell him to go to counseling 3 stay with him for a while and see how it goes if it continues like this get a friend thats a guy and take him with you to tell the boy

Yes, you better walk away from this one, that's for sure. you can see the red signs all over...and I'm not even talking about the red in his blood shot eyes.
Don't worry about him reacting to a bad break up - Just make excuses not to see him and ease out slowly but try to do it soon.

If you're afraid of him, tell him over the phone and have a friend with you. That way, he can't hurt you. I wouldn't worry too much about his feelings. You need to get out of this relationship safely.

you must first think about yourself. what do you want? do you want to leave him? if you do then, leave him. if your afraid to tell him it's over face to face do it over the phone or send him a letter. i know it sounds pretty mean but remember your safety comes first rather than his feelings. besides if he really cared about you he wouldn't do drugs. he knows the affect it has on him and how it hurts you too.

well good luck

MABYE TRY TAKING HIM TO A PARENT THAT CAN HELP OR SOMEONE OLDER THAT CAN HELP HIM GET ON THE RIGHT TRACK. THEN TELL HIM THAT THINGS AREN'T WORKING BUT YOU WANT TO BE THERE FOR HIM AND IF HE NEEDS HELP OR YOU SEE THAT HE NEEDS HELP TRY TO HELP. HE MAY REACT HORRIBLY TO THIS BUT OVER TIME HE WILL FORGET IT JUST TRY TO GET HIM CALMED DOWN AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

talk to him on the phone and tell him that you suspect that he is on drugs and you can not be around that. This way he is not next to you should he freak out
