That's not enough caloric intake (not to mention the nutritional drawbacks...) Your body will think you're facing starvation and will slow down your metabolism to compensate. You need at least 1,200 calories a day or your weight-loss plans will backfire... more if you're exercising strenuously.

I did this before. I started out at 163 and ended the month around 140. I DON"T RECOMMEND THIS!!! It's true that this will slow your metabolism and it's absolutely impossible to keep up. I gained it all back in about 3 months. If you really want to lose weight i'd find a sensible diet that's at least 1200 calories and just make sure you exercise. That way you'll be sure to keep it off.

You could probably lose a ton of weight, depending on your body size. However, due to the fact that you are not receiving enough nutrients and calories to nourish your body, you will probably find that you gain it all back (and then some) the next month when you go back to your normal eating habits.
Best way to lose weight? Balanced diet, with plenty of grains, fruits, vegetables, proteins, and low on fats and sugars; lots of exercise; lots of water.

A lot. I have a friend who did exactly what you said, ate ceasars salad exclusively with a serving of lean strips of chicken breast once a day , for over a month.
She lost a lot of weight. Now she will order anything but ceasars salad when eating out.

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!

I would expect it would depend on what is in the salad and how much salad dressing and type you use on the salad.
This would be a very unhealthy diet and should be only undertaken if you are under a doctor's supervision.

Low carb is the best way to go if you re trying to lose weight fast.
It does take some getting used too but it works.
I do agree that every person is different and will have different results.
