ehgringod...Firstly I have no idea how old you are, or if you are difficult, but Ill take you are a teenager and you try to make your mother proud of you. I had a period of that with my own son and it was out of pure jealously of him being young and having a life in front of him that I could never have. Sometime I didn't know I was doing it until one day the roles changed and he started telling me where I was going wrong, it was a break down of communication, since that day we always talk about what is happening, Why I am in a disagreement with him. Talk to your mother and ask her exactly what is the problem she has with you and show her the positive things you have achieved. I think you Will find in time that things will change, until then keep your head up and look positive. Good luck. WB

Poor you. I know what it feels like and the only thing to do is to stay positive and focus on yourself. To thine own self be true. Hard but you have to. Why not point out to her that she is doing this and you are worth so much more and that perhaps you might just not stay around for her unless she can sort her own problem out. Because this is her problem, every bit as much as it causes you a problem. She is damaged in some way and way too possessive and thinks by making you feel you are a failure she somehow maintains control. She must not be allowed to control you and you are the person to stop her. Stand up foryourself and point out what you know to be all the positives in your life.
