i just found out i was pregnant i am 9 weeks and i am kind of scared because i am only 17 and the house i live in now my whole family lives there and my sisters son. besides when i have this child i want me and its father to both be living together so that we can be a family the problem is me being so young it is really hard to find a good paying job. i work at togos right now but i was hoping some of you knew where i could look for financial housing assistance please help

First thing First make sure that you finish school. You will never have a good job without an EDUCATION! Also make sure that your child's father get a job too so you won't have to be on welfare like many teenage mothers. GOOD LUCK and God Bless!

look into section 8..do a search on the internet...also WIC helps moms out a great bit w/ certain foods and formula when the baby comes. try food stamps and also medicaid for healthcare!

You can check with family services. There's subsidized housing for low income families.

DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN SERVICES....ASK ABOUT SUBSIZED HOUSING. THERE ARE MANY IN EACH COUNTY THAT WILL HAVE UR RENT PAID IN FULL EVERY MONTH IF U HAVE NO INCOME. IF U GET ACCEPTED THEN THE MOST U'LL PAY WILL BE 30% OF UR INCOME. THERE ARE WAITING LIST TO GET IN SUBSIZED HOUSING.

If you are on SSI or other public assistance, talk to your caseworker to find out housing resources, if any.

you should have thought about this before you got pregnant... you wont be able to get housing because you are young...
