It's a festival, both harvest and thanking G-d for giving us huts in the desert. The festival ends on Sunday night, and it depends how much they'll procrastinate after that. Probably a week or two. Why does it bother you?

Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sukkoth it last 8 days every were but Israel. In Israel it last 7 days. The Sukkah will probably be up for about a couple of days after due to the time it will take to take it down. Feel free to talk to the neighbors if you have any questions about Sukkot. They will probably be very happy to talk about it.

it's a harvest festival, which commemorates the time the Israelites were leaving Egypt (the Exodus). WHy don't you ask your neighbors, politely, to explain it to you, and ask them about the significance of the "shed" (It's called a sukkah). It would be a great way to get to know them, and maybe you'd have a bit more respect for them.
