It is only bad if you are wanting to get another cat or something.

Cats are different from each other, just like people, and like people - how they were raised and what they are exposed to as babies affects what kind of adults they are.

If your cat was raised without much contact with other cats, it is pretty normal that she prefers to be an only cat- it's not bad for her, but what is not nice for her is to have to see other animals that scare or upset her.

Cats raised with other cats usually are not this way quiet so much.
Both ways are OK.

Cats are solitary by nature. Many will react very badly to the presence of another cat. I have one at home who likes dogs, children and cows, but he will instantly attack other felines-male or female.

Probley not my cat has not seen another cat in 2 years(as far as I know)
