I'd assume 4 oz. of sloppy joe mix per bun. Some eat two, some eat one. So that's 4 servings per pound. That's my standard. For all it's worth, some people may not even have one! Do 25 times 1.5 for buns, burger, and manwhich. That should cover you.

Well, people usually heap up a sloppy joe bun, so more than a 1/4 to a 1/2 lb a bun. How hungry are these people? at least one bun PP, you don't want to look like you are running out either.
One can to one pound...although you could stretch it a bit with more sauteed peppers & onions, & maybe some mushrooms.
I would do at least 10 lbs of meat, & that makes 10 cans of manwich, at least 40 buns, although you could get a loaf of bread & less buns.

Each Manwich can has a little over 6 servings, so to have enough for 25 people, you're looking at 5 cans of Manwich.
Each pound of ground beef can make 6 sandwiches, so to have enough for 25 people, you're looking at 5 pounds of ground beef.
And the buns are easy -- 25.
However, that's only enough for one sandwich a piece. Are you cooking for adults only? I would make enough for a minimum of 2 per person...maybe even multiple it by three to satisfy the hungry ones...especially if they're making their own sandwiches (some may pile it higher than others).
Are you cooking for younger kids? Make enough for two each -- especially if there are other sides like chips, raw veggies, salad, etc -- and you're sure to have a few left over. Older kids? Cook the same amount as you would for adults.
Adults:
75 buns (6 packs of 12, 1 pack of 6)
15 pounds of meat
15 cans of Manwich
Kids (or for adults if you're making them and wrapping them yourself):
50 buns (4 packs of 12, 1 pack of 6)
10 pounds of meat
10 cans of Manwich

If you go to http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Grandmas-Sloppy-Joes/Detail.aspx or you can choose any of the sloppy joe recipes on there- once there, they have a scaling/conversion button there that you can enter how many servings you want to make- put in 25 and it should tell you how much of everything you need! Hope that helps

1 lb of ground beef should yield 3-4 sandwiches, so you will need 15 lbs of beef(im figuring 2 sandwiches each),54 buns(since they come in packs of 8), but i would never buy manwich. i would make my own sauce using ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, garlic ,white pepper and a touch of liquid smoke..
