Often you can get these details online through us.courts.gov. If you can't, you have to request it from the court, either in person or by mail. If you request by mail, the court will charge a fee for photocopying the file or the pages you requested (such as the final judgment).

Go down to the court house where it was held and ask to see the file.

You can normally get a listing of what was filed off the jurisdictions website.

If you are not in the area you can request a copy of the file, but murder trials are pretty lenghty so you'll be paying a pretty penny.
Is there something specific you want like why a certain sentance was imposed? In that case all you need to order is a transcript of the judges reasons for decision which won't involve paying for the whole flippin file.

Go to the courthouse where the trial took place and ask for the case # and then put it in writing that you are requesting a sentence report, of course they will want to know who you are, and your relationship to the individual. DO NOT know why that you want these, but, for what-ever reson Good Luck!!!

call your local clerk of court office and they will tell you what kind of information they can give out. You'll have to pay for copies of info, though, which can be pricey. ($1 per page is not unusual)

You can only view court dockets if they are posted online and if you know the person's full name, birthdate, social etc. and when they were charged.
