It has happened in the day and when I wake up in the middle of the night. I moved here about 7 months ago, and that's when I have been seeing these numbers more frequently, since I've moved.

Oh My Gosh.......me too. It has been a long running joke between me and my best friends about 11:11 because I was always looking at the clock at 11:11! If they look at the clock and it is 11:11 they automatically think of me and sometimes even call and say "I just looked at the clock and guess what it said!?!?!"......I had decided long ago that something was going to happen to me at 11:11 or on 11-11, or something. I used to get really nervous if I was driving and glanced at the clock in the car and it said 11:11. But now, I don't even pay attention to it anymore....it still happens, but I guess I've just gotten used to it.

As for why.....I have no idea.

I don't know if it helps but the same things been happening to me. I will always see the time as 11:11 or as 23:23. I've found out that a 23rdian is a person who witness in their life the number 23 quite frequently. But its significance i'm not too sure.

wait you mean that you always look at the clock at 11:11? haha, that happens to me sometimes too. but its 9:11. and then i get kind of creeped out. i dont really think theres any reason why we do that, it just happens.

Didn't 'Star trek, the next generation' have an episode eerily similar to this? Maybe a future self is trying to warn you to do something, and if your clever enough to figure out what your future self is saying you may just prevent global disaster and decimation of biblical proportions.
Or, it could just be a coincidence.
