Does your military installation have an Officers Wives Club and/or an Enlisted Wives Club? That would be a good place to start. If you can't find any info on that, contact your husband's First Sergeant directly -- it's his/her responsibility to make sure that everything is OK with the family while the military member is deployed. Good luck and may God bless you and your family, especially your husband who may be in harm's way.

My brother is deployed again and my SIL has said the best support group is other wives and not just in his unit. Your husbands unit should have Key Volunteers. The KV's should keep you informed and they maybe able to suggest a support group also. Hope this helps and good luck. God Bless Our Troops.

My wife joined a few Yahoo Groups for Marine wifes when i was deployed. That really helped her and answered a lot of her questions.

Try Army Family Team Building (AFTB) Army Community Services (ACS) or as the other answerer mentioned above, militaryonesource. There is also Americasupportsyou.org.
Good Luck!

My husband says www.adoptasoldier.com. They have support groups. For those who adopt a soldier, the adopted soldier you'll be given will have a list of their needs. It will give you a list of what they like, like cookies or something so you can send them to an APO address.

Best wishes, hon!
