concessions for paying bills? Will they lower payments or anything?

while i was going thru my treatments, i couldn't work (18 months) so of course my bills suffered. i called them all and the only ones that would not help was capital one. all the others lowered them. all of them went to $11/mo and lower interest rate. it must be some kind of sick rule or something if they all sugessted that.
just ask them all. i thought they wouldn't do it and what's the point, but i called and look! they helped! good luck!

It never hurts to ask. Write them a letter and explain what is going on. You may need to provide a letter from your doctors to confirm that you aren't just making up something to get more time.
