I often wonder why an all loving God will send me to everlasting hell. Although I call myself a christian, I think that 'HELL' in the Bible is mistranslated.
I never think about hell...it doesn't make sense.

One consideration the other answers have not included is the translation of the word "everlasting" into the word "eon" --- a long, long time which eventually comes to an end. The Concordant Literal New Testament (Concordant Publishers / 15570 West Knochaven Road/Canyon County, CA 91351) makes a case for that iterpretation. Then, the King James passage "God is not willing that any should perish, but all should come to repentance" shows you the possibility that after and eon in hell people might still have the chance to repent.

"'These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.'" Matthew 25:46

That couldn't be any clearer. Besides, the consequences for sin IS eternal punishment, i.e. the second death, aka eternal death (seperation from God) in hell/lake of fire/outer darkness. Whatever the terminolgy, sinners WILL go to hell forever unless they repent and call upon the name of the Lord (accept Christ).

You did. You just said the bible said there is no hell.

Now you're back peddaling.

The passage you site says eternal...

Matthew 25:46 (King James Version)
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

Matthew 25:46 (English Standard Version)
And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life."

Matthew 25:46 (American Standard Version)
And these shall go away into eternal punishment: but the righteous into eternal life.

Matthew 25:46 (Douay Rheims Version)
And these shall go into everlasting punishment: but the just, into life everlasting.

Think of the second death as the second separation. Gehenna was a dump outside Jerusalem where the trash was burned. It represents total corruption "where the fire is not put out and the worm doesn't die" The spirit will live on with remorse over the wasted infinitesimal time in the flesh, when it could have sought it's creator "in the days of youth".

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them"-
Ecclesiates 12:1

What part of "everlasting" do you not understand? The punishment will NEVER stop.

What do you base this upon? I am saying there is no hell fire or eternal punishment. But that's just my opinion. Just like yours is only an opinion.

The bible is myth, fables written hundreds of years after Jesus. Men created hell - not God!!
We create our own hell, our own punishements. And they last as long as we want them to or think that we need to be punished.

Good point!

Jews also believe that punishment is not eternal. I don't see you convincing many Christians though...
