I've always heard that all animals are, but our old dog could pick out the correct color of ball you told her to fetch. Plus, why would different snakes and such have bright coloring to warn off predators if the predators were color blind?

Dogs colour vision is about as bad as you spelling!
I noticed that a couple of people have said that ALL animals are colour blind. This isn't true

Nobody can possibly know the answer to this question.
Indeed, does it matter or not as to whither they are colour blind ?
It will affect our lives not one jot.
Apologies for my cynical answer.

The color for colored dog food is for your benefit, not the dog's. Dogs are color blind so they can't see it.
