SHREVEPORT, La. A Shreveport Marine, with barely a year of service under his belt, has been killed in an illegal war in Iraq.

Family members say Lance Corporal John Edward Hale, who'd been in the war-torn country for three months, died Friday when an improvised explosive device detonated near his patrol in the Anbar Province.

Funeral arrangements are pending the return of his remains to the United States, which could take two weeks. The family is very sad to know he died for a lost cause.

Good q.

We had to catch Saddam before he attacked us again like 9-11.

Right?

“He was very moved when 9-11 happened, and that was when he made up his mind to join the Marines.”

And then they sent him after Bin Laden right? But wait, he died in Iraq?

Apparently the Lance Corporal John Edward Hale felt it was worth the sacrifice. These soldiers are not children, they know what they are getting into. They understand the importance and the reality of the threat. Why would you use this as an opportunity to demean his choice and the choice of the other soldiers that understand the sacrifice far better than you do just because you don't agree with it?

Number one, the war in Iraq is not an illegal war. Number two, that soldier did not die for a lost cause, he died fighting for the freedom of the decent Iraqi people, he died doing his job that he volunteered to do. My husband is over their and I'm sick of people like you saying that these soldiers are dying for a worthless cause. You should try and be a little more supportive of these guys and their missions and stop saying that they are over there for a "lost cause"!

Yet ANOTHER FABRICATED ARTICLE by the habitual liar named erudite....

Where to start... of course... the fabrications...
"has been killed in an illegal war in Iraq."
"The family is very sad to know he died for a lost cause."

Once again... manipulating data and violating copyright law to spread his warped agenda, that is erudite's way

And of course, like always, I link the REAL article in my sources section below my post

Once again erudite is exposed... it is so easy to battle his warped agenda with a little thing called truth

First of all -- the war is NOT illegal -- there is DEFINITELY a Declaration of War as provided for by our CONGRESS -- so you are definitely out of the loop (and we don't know where else your mind is at this time).
