I think you are confused. I think the car you are talking about is a Nissmo tuned car and the story is that Nissmo wants to be like AMG is for Mercedes.

AMG is Mercedes' performance division.

There is a grand tradition in the tuner world of idiots putting incorrect badges on their cars. I've seen a Mercedes that, if you were to believe the badges, had both a supercharged V8 and a V12 in it. There are BMW Civics kicking around out there too.

Badges are cheap, an actual Mercedes AMG is really expensive.

Please post a link to the pictures. I've never heard of a Nissan AMG. Besides, AMG is Daimler-Chrysler's performance subsidiary. So I doubt Nissan could have or would have used the AMG name.

there is no such car as a Nissan AMG.

there have been several articles released on the internet that ive read a while ago, relating to NISMO and Nissan, and for some reason, AMG. AMB is strictly mercedes, its like a tuning\racing store for MB i believe. these articles that i read compared NISMO to nissan, as AMG is to MB (like those comparisons that used to be on the SATs haha). the car that you might have it confused for, is a NISMO tuned Nissan 350z. grey frame, red\black\grey stripes on the hood, nice car. but its a 350z =P
