I believe in god because of what I believe god is: I believe that the reality that we all live in is what god would be if their was a god. I guess you could say that I also believe in heaven and hell since these words are interchangeable with the word "god" which makes all of everything whatever your consciousness deems (or chooses) it to be.

Absolutely I believe in God. I started believing in God when I was a little girl because my parents believed in Him and I learned about God and Jesus in Sunday school.
He became real to me when I was 22 when I began praying to Him because I wanted to not because I felt like I should. That's also the time I started reading my bible because I enjoyed learning more about Jesus and His life.

In as much as I was not around to see how everything came into being (and neither were you),I say, "I don't know ..... YET!" To assume that some god, my less than intellectual ancestors made up, instantaneously farted the universe into being, is absurd

Yes. Pascal said it was a good idea. Pascal wasn't a prophet; he was a mathematician. See the wikipedia article on "Pascal's Wager."

I do not. I see no proof of it existing. In the absence of proof of existence, the correct logical default is non-existence.
