google 'Volcanoes of the Deep'-Horizon follows a team of deep sea scientists as they try to raise a group of strange volcanic "chimneys" from the Pacific ocean floor. Discovered only 20 years ago, these so-called "Black Smokers" are towers of rock that spew out torrents of black scalding water, gushing up from the core of the Earth. They are part of a system of underwater hot springs, called hydrothermal vents, which are found on volcanic mid-ocean ridges where the Earth's tectonic plates meet. The vents harbour one of the most extraordinary ecosystems on the planet - animals and plants living in complete darkness, under enormous pressure, one and a half miles under water. Without energy from the sun, they survive instead on a unique form of chemical energy. At the base of the food chain are chemo-synthetic bacteria. Unlike plants which derive energy from the sun, these microbes feed on chemicals like caustic acid and carbon dioxide that come up through the hot springs-who is god 4them

early religions thought the Sun to be the giver of all life, or some thought it to be the Thunder God of volcanoes or a Fire God

if you were these tube worms or the bacteria, which, by the way share our own DNA patterns, who or what would they consider 'god' to be?

...At the base of the food chain are chemo-synthetic bacteria. Unlike plants which derive energy from the sun, these microbes feed on chemicals like caustic acid and carbon dioxide that come up through the hot springs from deep inside the bowels of the Earth. The bacteria in turn become the basic nutrients for tube worms and other animals higher up the food chain.-It has been estimated that thirty of the volcanic chimneys generate the same energy as the largest nuclear power reactors. Inside these vents there just might be the right mix of chemicals, and enough energy to have created the very first building blocks of life, billions of years ago. scientists now believe that it is in places such as these where life began

Interesting your "scienists now believe" that this maybe where life began. Tomorrow scienists will believe something else. And just how do they say life began? It is funny the more advanced we get the less we know. Because at each "discovery" conclusions are made as to just what those discoveries mean. Probably means nothing but the really, really, really smart people will come up with something.

Isn't funny also that from the time of Darwin until about 1980 the search was on for the "missing link." When that was never found the theory of evolution was changed from "from apes" to common ancestor.

The other day I found a very small bug on my dog and I knew that somehow all life evolved from bugs. But I could be wrong.

ummm, sulfur deposits, shaped as long tubes that glow from the constant heat being forced up and out?

I don't think that these life forms would have the ability to feel or desire something out of necessity. No eyes looking up or down for an answer to a question. And, having DNA in common, can to the right person, only enforce intelligent design. He used the same materials....?

I suppose I would envision him in terms of heat. Wetness is an absolute down there so I would not know to view him as wet or dry. I might have SOME inkling of temperature since the waters around me would be swirling, some hot, some cold, and I might further have some awareness that the vent is the world, and god lives deep inside it.

I'm on pins and needles hoping we find some other unusual life form on Mars before I die. Not sure if there are any or not, but that sure would go a long way toward getting these religious folks to wake up.

You seem to have a lot of knowledge - what a shame to misuse it. There is something greater that needs your attention. Jesus Christ loves you and died for you. Blessings to you. PS I have a relationship with Jesus - not a religion.
